Once upon a time, I was still looking for a place to live for the spring semester in late December. I finally emailed Housing and told them to add my name to the waiting list. My brother told me today that my dog is dying. She has been my best friend since I was ten. I’m going home early so I can say goodbye properly. I am a wreck.

I like to say I work best under pressure. This is true to some extent but really what it boils down to is laziness. I know that I can whip out a decent eight page paper in one night but why not get it done early? Why not subtract the element of stress from an assignment?
